“This is a fantastic waffle maker! I purchased a Belgian waffle maker a while ago, not quite realizing what it was. After many burned-on-the-outside-and-raw-in-the-middle attempts with that one, I decided to go out and buy this one.

* I LOVE the temperature sensor! The green light comes on when it’s ready too cook and when the waffles are done. Just to experiment, I tried it on each setting, and it’s very consistent and accurate.

* It’s very easily nonstick. I just poke at the edge and slide a spatula under it and it slips right off. I cannot fathom why so many bad reviews state their waffles are sticking to it. Bad recipes, maybe?

* It wipes clean and stores easily!

The only “con” I might have is that the top does get very hot, so be cautious about touching it, and definitely keep tiny fingers away!”

I have been very impressed with the build quality. It cleans very easily and the brushed stainless steel exterior looks impressive.

My favorite feature is the automatic thermostat. Set the thermostat to the desired darkness and the waffle maker tells you when the waffle is done (the little light turns green). You get exactly the right color every time. ”

“After reading some of the other reviews I must defend this fine product. This iron works extraordinarily well. If waffles are sticking, spray a little Pam and as for complaints about safety, well duh, it gets hot.

This iron preheats and cooks quickly. Heat is evenly distributed and cooking is consistent.

If you can be trusted with matches you will have no trouble with this great value in a simple waffle iron.”
